Bangkok day2

Hey! Today we slept for ages due to the obvious jetlag. Finally at around 2pm we were set to go. We took a riverboat to pratunam and spent almost the whole day at the platinum fashion mall. Sonja was really excited about it, since you basically don't have to bargain due to the fixed prices. I for one don't really care about doing the whole haggle and fight for a small discount :D
After jagi came from work we changed venues to a different mall. So our day went quite shoppingwise, except a few stops for food! 

Because of the tensions regarding the protests which are at the area we're staying, it took us quite a while  to get a cab or tuctuc back to our place. Apparently the cabdrivers aren't really fond of the idea going here. Even though in the two days we've been here, nothing has happened besides a few roadblocks and people guarding them. We've also seen some military personnal, but they have been just chilling around. So in my opinion, it has been as safe as in any other parts of bangkok to stay here. Well time will tell.
